Keyword Country worth it?

Anyone have experience using keyword country - yeah, I know there are a million free tools I could cobble together to do the same thing, but I'd rather have more time to build revenue.

Anyone think it's worth the price tag for at least short-term research (day, week or month option)?
 


I have been using it for some time now. It's pretty good when you want to do some actual keyword research and not just go out and throw shit on the wall like some people here prefer. Hand grenade approach works, but you need to build automated system to make it painless ;) I prefer to do my research before and find small, but profitable niches without first trying and wasting money. But it's really up to you which method works for you :)
 
micfire - I think you misunderstand what we mean when we say test, and throw shit at the wall. this does not mean do no research before launching a campaign. This does not mean, don't make an intelligent choice. This does not mean test every offer. What we mean is, do your research if you think it is going to do well go for it. research does not mean it will work though so until you put it online etc you don't know if it will work or not.

Now, I use wordtracker, is kwc better? if so why?

That is what I would like to know since I have a wordtracker subscription. Keyword Country has a video up that runs through the features and it looks like they have much more data available. (try to block out the dopey infomercialish voice-over guy)

Does anyone think what they are showing in the video would save enough
time to be worth the payout? How about saving enough $ by avoiding bad niches? Anyone use the same figures they do when wading through market research?
 
I'd love to hear any unbiased reviews on Keyword Country also. I watched the videos and it looks like the most robust keyword tool out there. The bid quality feature looks very handy. I like how it lists the average CPC per keyword, not just the top bid which can be meaningless.
 
i used it for a little while, its kind of expensive. Some of the stuff like CPC is outdated
 
I just bought this for a month, will report back on what I think. If nothing else it should be good for niche generation in arbitrage!
 
Chris Why would you go do something crazy like that when we could all just sit around and speculate ;)

I purchased Keyword Elite and the software itself is pretty good but when it grabs search data from Overture it usually gets a bunch of "N/A" because Overture's servers are sporadic and non-responsive a lot of the time.

Have you noticed any of these problems with Keyword Country yet?
