Hello,

I have an authority site which basically ranks first or second for the keywords of every new article I publish - I wondered what tools I can use to find high-traffic keywords in my niche.

Ive tried using the overture tool but dont find it that usefull,

any recommendations appreciated.

I like using wordtracker.
 
Keyword analyzer and keyword elite (both paid tools) can be good.

Also, you may try Google keyword tool - which gives you "related" keywords, which you can scrape in overture to find more.
 
how about KeywordSpy.com, they pretty much hand you over your competitor's keywords. Its $90/month though
