kick ass laptop??

i am in the market for a new laptop (after giving up on my asus eeepc 1000 netbook as a bad job). I want something that packs a punch... mainly for developing etc but can handle CS3. Also, i want one that looks cool aswell!! like on 24!! Anybody got any ideas?? My budget is in the £500/600 GBP region.
