holy fucking shit. everytime i try to add the little lightbox shit for text to my site it fucks up completely. All I'm trying to do is make it pop up and not fuck up. Anyone who helps get's + rep and a gh method. PM me for details and my site. I'm gonna go out for a bit but will be back later tonight EST.

Use ColorBox for a lightbox or even to access the AJAX methods of jQuery. It's a jQuery plugin and it's super easy to implement and use. Also, Jack Moore responds to his Google Group questions pretty fast and there is already a ton of information there if you search for it.

I've used this on several custom CMSs I've built for clients in the admin area as well as on their public site. Unless you've done some crazy crap on your code and are not following the standard of separating your code from presentation, you should be able to implement it without having to add anything to your site's code other than an external JavaScript file with your custom JavaScript using the ColorBox functions.
