L-Tyrosine, Dopamine Precursor

everyones brain needs/can handle a diff level of tyrosine - for example i was taking 12g a day for a few weeks (which is an insanely high dose for anyone else -- 3g would be considered a 'high' dose - 12g is obscene) and it was not that crazy of an effect.

look up dr. kalish or his interview with sean croxton on underground wellness's radio show - he talked a lot about it. he's basically 'the guy' for this kind of stuff

also some other stuff - don't take tyrosine for an extended period of time, eventually it starts to deplete your dopamine production - same with tryptophan - which is a precursor to serotonin. you usually take them both together.

I used to take this all the time when I was younger and into dopamine depleting activities. I can't remember the dose, but I'd take this and 5-HTP throughout the week. Can't really be sure if it helped or not..

so unlike amphetamines you wont be draining your body of dopamine.

As far as I recall (this may infact be 100% bullshit) dopamine doesn't actually 'build' up, its just a system which works at x rate, when you overuse it, taking stims for example, this will slow it down. What L-Tryosine does it just assist that system back to normal.
