Lag Time on Google Content Network

Over the past month or so, it seems as if any content-network campaign (CPC, text ads, many niches, no categories that would get flagged) takes quite a while to start running, or for some reason goes through a manual approval process which can take forever. Regular search ads go up just fine.

Is this happening to anyone else, or it this most likely some sort of hold on my account from Google? Google's support has not been able to give me any useful information.

If it's just me, it's probably time to get a new, unrelated account up.
 


Text ads could start getting impressions in hours for me, image ads have gone from 24 hours or less approval to 3-5 days.
 
The delay may be a function of your bids or could be related to the ad itself...I'm seein g a few hours turnaround in most cases.
 
I have the same prob as the OP- we are obviously both retards...I have a new site with a qs of 5/10, and cant for the fuck figure out why I can get impressions. Going on day #3..
 
Whenever I create a new account they manually review the content ads before they go live. I've had to wait about a week for some of them.

But once I get a few campaigns going, I usually start seeing impressions within a few hours on all new campaigns (text ads).
 
This account is 2+ years old, with a pretty decent spend throughout. I've never had any ads knocked due to any reason besides incorrect display URL, so I can't tell why these campaigns are not doing anything. Maybe I should stick to creating new ad groups instead of new campaigns?
 
Same with me J- Older account, spent 10's of thousands, yet for content network i cant seem to get anything going. Ive had a few impressions, but overall, i dont get any impressions hardly at all, even with a good qs. Different placements, kws' etc dont seem to trigger anything. its almost like my acct has been flagged by G for shit impressions....thinking out loud here- maybe create a new account in wifes name and start anew and see if anything changes- note to self
