hiding redirect masking refererer and such

Ok so you create the killer webpage/blog you get some decent traffic to it now you want to monetize with affiliates.
what steps should you take after you chose the affiliates.
redirect
hide referrer
meta refresh or double meta refresh does this work in IE
php re-direct
.htaccess redirect
prosper202
ssl certificate a benefit?
I have been trying to piece together exactly the steps to take to protect the landing page from examination / abuse.
Is there a standard checklist that most follow or is everyone basically trying there own thing?
 


Meta-Refresh your links. Send through a page that is a meta-refresh rather then direct linking. This should clean most stuff. But it's near impossible to clean everything 100% of the time.

Sorry I was just just trying to get across the fact that there are a bunch of terms around but I have not yet seen a thread cohesively explaining this topic.
Again ratamiss sorry to have confused you, that was not my intent, but merely to show my own confusion at were to start addressing this area of web design .
