Sometimes the network provided landing pages that come with offers (payday, some refinance) have toll free numbers when people don't want to provide so much info online. I'm guessing if the prospect calls the toll free number, I don't get credit for the conversion.

For those of you that work with these offers, do you make your own landing page to get around this? Or do you just not work on offers that have numbers on the landing page?

Yes, you won't get paid unless the offer is hybrid (call + lead). Its a sneaky way to take away atleast 25% of your commissions.

Dont worry about trivial stuff like this and worry about wether or not it's performing better than other LPs.

You're turning away roi not worrying about stuff like this. If you're doing volume you should be doing host and post then you can display your own number and have an agent post the leads or do pay per call offers.

Yes, you're losing money. Yes, you should be able to get credit from all types of conversions - live chat could even be costing you conversions as well.

You could solve this by setting up your own LP with two offers, the leadgen and a pay per call offer promote them both... A lot of networks have pay per call already set up. Set up the Landing Page in a similar fashion the adv has it and see how many people call in, i'm sure their layout works great.
