I've been doing a lot of bookmarking and article posting lately which means I've had to sign up to a lot of different services each with their own unique login info. I was checking my excel records and doing lots of ctrl+C and V to login to multiple accounts on the same sites etc., which is a total pain in the balls. I found a great way to make this ridiculously simple.

First, I set up multiple firefox profiles which are each by definition totally unique and do not share stored login info, bookmarks, etc. There is a great article on how to do this here. (didn't write this, not a plug.)

lifehacker.com/231646/geek-to-live--manage-multiple-firefox-profiles

Then I installed the firefox lastpass addon for each install (profiles also have unique addon installs):

addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/8542

...and created a new lastpass user with unique autoformfill info for each profile (which makes registration much easier) and have it remember all the usernames and (generated) passwords.

Then I added all the sites to the bookmark toolbar.

So now each profile has it's own set of unique users and stores the correct info for that user and auto logs in.:338:

I can get through about 40 of them in under ten minutes. +productivity.

That's pretty clever stuff there. I give you some rep to feel warm and fluffy.

BUT... did you also include automated use of proxies?
Submitting to SBM sites from 40 different accounts in under 10 minutes from the same IP is going to raise some red flags and get your accounts and your IP banned from some of the better managed ones.

Each profile has 1 unique account for each of 40 different SBM sites (Digg, Reddit, Stumble, etc.,), so if I go through the whole process for one profile, then I haven't used any single service twice.

I could see setting up each profile to use a different proxy if I was using them rapidly one after the other, that's a great idea.

Are you saying that submitting to multiple different SBM sites in the same short time frame will get me flagged? Like they're communicating w/ each other? Does that really happen?

Thanks for the rep and reply
