leadimpact vs mediatraffic

LI takes around 2-3 days for approval, mediatraffic is a bit faster but not like TV. TV is usually within a few hrs. Accuracy wise both are ok. LI has much more inventory than MT anyway

If you're basing your network decisions on things like how quickly the approval process is and RON traffic, you're doing it wrong.

Lead Impact's traffic quality is a million times better than MT's.

If you're doing RON, this will not matter. But for others, MT targeting is very weak.

Watch your "outbid report" to see the weirdness... Bad targeting is intentional IMO, helps you to spend money. You have to learn the game, to target better, or it costs you.

So if I had a fairly comfortable price on CPA for a sale with LeadImpact, would anyone advise against it?

I figure that as long as I am watching the sales to make sure nothing shady is going on, like sketchy locations or a string of sales under our average, everything should be ok, right? I am not sure what other areas I might need to pay extra close attention to other than those.

My biggest complaint about LI is their stats.

Your server will say you served 1000 ads. LI will claim they served 30% or so more. I challenged them on this since I have robust servers for the volume I was doing and they claim that perhaps people were closing the ads before they loaded, etc.

A certain percentage will be that- but I won't run anything with them until this is fixed. Fortunately I have other things to concentrate on.

In comparison TV has a loss as well but it's in the low % - like 1-2% usually. Rarely does it go over 5. Typically if it does your page load time sucks.

people have been complaining about this forever - Boycott LeadImpact Day? | ppc.bz

Complete. Fucking. Bullshit.

I've had a bit of a look at what LI's toolbars do behind the scenes and the ones I looked at don't fade your pop in until it has FINISHED loading.

LI have the traffic and they lack the morals. 30% inflated impressions it is.

btw. who gives a shit LI are crooked bastards. Everyone knows they rip campaigns at their heart's content. Just pay the "real" price and factor it into your calculations.

I've used MT in the past. Had the best interface and best traffic out of the other ppv networks I've tried.
