Tom -- The Guy who coded most part of the Marketplace @ SP and the Ex-Admin at SitePoint -- is going to be real proud of EF marketplace. After all, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery... err. No, Rip-Off is.

Jesus Christ! That guy has balls to even rip-off the design and not just the functions.

Seriously speaking -- I have never ever sold even one domain or site at EF whereas I've done a lot of business at SP and a Fair bit at WF. :-/ Having a MarketPlace software wouldn't help em until they actually have buyers.

You know, I just went to EF thinking you guys were probably just busting his balls a bit and it would only have a piece here and there that looked like SP, but DAMN. I have to give kudos for the Vbulletin tweaking, but why in the world would you rip off a layout/design like that knowing you're going to get berated about it? They copied things right down to the ad design like on the main page. I was just looking at that on Sitepoint yesterday admiring how they constructed the ad and how it reacts to different browser sizing. EF did the same exact thing.

While it looks pretty cool (well, it's Sitepoint!) I have to shake my copycat finger towards EF on this one. Shame fer shame.
