Libertarian: 30% of the Vote in Costa Rica

I actually first read about this guy and movement in LP News back around 2000. I am not that familiar with the situation, but I heard over the years they drifted in a "less libertarian" direction or something else happened that made most U.S. Libertarians stop caring or paying attention. I know they used to make a big deal out of Guevara years ago.

It was also used as an example of Libertarian support/opportunity when your elections aren't winner-take-all.

I wouldn't read too much into it... The locals are fickle and the polls will jump back and forth depending on who is promising what this week.

The sad thing is Chincilla will probably win, and is going to do her best to destroy everything that makes this country a fun place to live.
