Attack on Titan

Plot Summary: Several hundred years ago, humans were nearly exterminated by giants. Giants are typically several stories tall, seem to have no intelligence, devour human beings and, worst of all, seem to do it for the pleasure rather than as a food source. A small percentage of humanity survived by walling themselves in a city protected by extremely high walls, even taller than the biggest of giants.

This anime seems to capture the desperation the horror and intensity of the premise perfectly. The animation is good, my problem with this show is that it's so engrossing that waiting till the next episode is painful. Just want to do my part and try to spread the word of how good it is.

thanks for the share. i couldn't wait so i just read the manga instead. and now i have to wait for more. shit gets even more crazier than the beginning.
 
I know.. the cliffhanger of episode 5 was so fucking brutal there was no way I could wait another week and devoured the manga in a single day. I heard good things about claymore.
 
I've caught Bleach and some other show where they race mechs a few times now, not terrible although I usually have no idea what's going on.

i know man i was so pissed i was looking for the next episode couldn't find it. that was actually the first one i watched in Japanese. i Usually only stick to the one that are done in English it was really good tho
 
i despise most anime but i watched most of the first episode of this and wow

what a neat idea for a show

its pretty dark and creepy...the shit eating grin on that giants face at the end of the first episode will be stuck in my mimd for a while lol
