Apple's foray into "usefulness" seems to be failing ATM.
I have no fear for the company though, they will continue to make billions of dollars as the worlds largest toy manufacturer.

I've used it and yes there are advantages to it but also disadvantages when compared against Google Maps. One thing to keep in mind is that this is their first version of the maps, since it's now in their hands the maps should only get better. You can also just download the Google Map app from the app store.

Seriously though, that had to be a major embarrassment.
For the most part I don't love or hate Apple, except for when they do things like filing a frivolous suit against a polish grocery store, but at least they're owning up to the fact that this was a huge screw up. Though it's not like there was a way they could spin it otherwise.
