I know a bunch of you guys are fellow Long Islanders -- I need a new accountant. A no-bullshit, easygoing accountant that won't let my Quickbooks fall to shit and knows how to be baller.

I looked all over, LI and remote, and I just couldn't find anyone suitable enough so I do everything on my own.

Many of these accountants don't know shit and the ones that do require 20k payments.

I hate taxes. I would never do them on my own. Got better shit to do with my time. But I do agree with the second half of your statement.

I work for a financial planner/adviser on the south shore. Could probably help you with some tax loss selling, setting up corporations, etc. I know our accountant works mainly on the investment side of things, but I'll ask the boss if he recommends anyone.
