Looking for Aff Network to Geotarget NYC and LA

OK here's the problem.

The company I'm advertising for is looking for CPA based campaigns that will only target NY and LA. They don't want to spend any money talking to the middle.

Does anyone know of any affiliate networks that would be interested in working with a advertiser that only wants to pay for leads generated out of NYC and LA?

Any ideas?

It appears that most affiliate networks don't even want to talk to you if your not advertising national. Anyone know why it is that there are no networks that are willing to work with local advertisers?

I cant imagine it would be that hard to do geotargeted affiliate offers. You might even see a higher conversion rate due to increased relevancy. Seems like this is a unexplored space that could potentially be lucrative. Or maybe I'm wrong?

Can any one with a little more experience shed some light on this area?

I can't imagine I'm the first person to bring it up.
 
Well think about it, why would a network take a crappy offer that has limited potential and waste their time putting it on their network? They need to do big volume to make any significant revenue on their small margins so it simply isn't worth it for them. Try smaller networks looking to get their feet wet maybe but what you really should do is kick the advertiser in the head and tell them that the other 48 states combined can bring in at least 20 times the volume as only those 2 states.

How about you get off the forum and send out a ton of email. Sounds like this is your job and you're trying to get the forum to do it for you so you can do 0 footwork.

The reason the advertiser only wants to advertise in New York and LA is because their offer is only relevant in those geographies. Opening up the offer to other cities would require a sales expansion that is impossible currently.

They are the ones who are getting the leads. The new leads are account sign-ups for the site.

oh and by the way the budget they are looking at is 100k+ permonth.
 
I didn't read the whole thread so this may have been said or just not possible for your situation but here's what I'd do...

Setup a geo script on your end that will detect whether or not the visitors are from NY/LA. If they are, redirect them to your landing page. If not, redirect them to a related CPA offer in the same niche. So if you're collecting auto insurance leads, any visitor outside your demographic gets redirected to insure4less or whatever. This would probably only work for certain niches but maybe worth looking into.
 
They are trying to sell local salon services for haircuts and waxing only in LA and NYC, and they don't even have a rebill ? They should just sign up with a local directory or buy BB Wolf's plugin and make a wordpress flog and quit wasting your time. And ours. Sorry.

I'm not here to waste anyone's time. I brought this to the attention of the community because I figured there might be someone who was compelled by the offer to invest a little time and creativity in the interest of acquiring a potentially valuable client. No harm intended I'm happy to take this investment through different channels.
