You may know me from my writing service on this forum, but what you may not know is that I also run my own team of writers over at WritersWithHats.com. The site is still under heavy construction (I plan on it being a haven for freelance writers and publishers to find work), but the team has been taking orders at a relatively steady pace so far and I thought it would be a good idea to bulk up our numbers with some new writers. Good ones.
Here's the deal:
- Pay is $.015/word. I've been known to give good bonuses when you make my job easier by writing good stuff so I don't have to edit anything, but $.015 is baseline.
- You will see a list of articles that aren't assigned to writers and pick what you want to do (sort of like textbroker, but less streamlined) so you don't have to write articles on topics that you know nothing about if you don't want to. Just keep in mind that we are in our infancy, work is only trickling in until the site is totally done.
- Quality writing only (no non-native English speakers, sorry). I want a team that can hand back well-researched and thought-out articles that are valuable to readers. That means no fluffy language to hide behind because you didn't find enough information in the Wiki article, put some effort into it. Write with correct grammar. Style is a big plus.
That's about it, all payment is through PayPal and be sure to follow the posted article deadlines if you get accepted.

Cover Letters and Resumes are recommended but not required. Samples of your work ARE required and applying without them will earn you a great spot in the trash bin.
