Just a word to the wise. Anyone offering over 1000 proxies(dedicated) is most likely running a botnet, and regardless of what they say, every botnet has honeypots that log all the shit going through em.

I have a dedi in USA. I am looking to set up my own Proxy .I do not want to use webbased proxies like glype, phpproxy, cgiproxy. Can anyone please recommend me whcih software to use?

Squid, freeproxy. Make sure to restrict by IP, and dont allow non port 80 connections.
