My current idea is to make it more relevant with the purpose of selling it off to a doctor that specializes in breast surgery or eventually a directory type site that could charge memberships for doctors. Its currently just sitting parked.

I was gonna use a script called phpmydirectory and then just look to fill it with content and have reviews or feedback on the doctors.

Anyone have any other ideas or thoughts or scripts to recommend for the site? And ideas to fill it with the content I need? Is there ways to just buy a list of all the breast surgeons in the united states easily?

Thanks for any advice. I am definately a newbie to this and looking for any advice/help and ideas.

If you have a service that would do all this, I am open to paying for it as well and if you could pm me with your price and your plan of execution.

You could always collect leads yourself and sell them to a surgeon in the person's region. Granted, you'd have to make deals with surgeons all over the country, but it could make you some decent coin.
 
yeah I am thinking if I build something, I could then charge for featured listings.

or do I just try and build a message board forum?

im kind of torn on what to do
 
Nice aged domain, whois shows created: 1998-06-17, did you buy the domain at auction or pick it up as dropped?

Waybackmachine shows the domain used to be a doctor and information site on the subject. Yahoo show no inlinks and a search of the domain in google shows nothing bar this thread.

A quick google for "breast surgeon" shows a few sponsored ads. Maybe check out a few of them to see if they offer a way to make some coin. Or maybe just put up a site and place adsence on it until it gets indexed in the major serps. Or through caution to the wind and make an adult site with the domain, in the big tit niche.
 
I would go the Wordpress route, some decent stock photgraphs and about 5 laser targetted original articles with Breast Surgeon in the title.

Some light link building.

Wait a bit for a better ranking then approach the top 20 plastic surgeons in the biggest cities and offer to sell it.

I think you could rank for just those two terms but havent researched thoroughly. I could write the content and setup the site but I am not really cheap.
 
Thats a very nice domain. I would make some pages with the highest paying KWS like LA Breast Surgeon, California Breast Augmentation. Then some easy to rank for long tail KW pages to get traffic. The adsense clicks are excellent for breast enlargement. If the site does well you can then sell ad space to clinics.
 
Nice domain name mate! If I was you, I would go the directory route as it will provide an (effective) endless stream of income. Luckily for you, doctors and particularly surgeons are cashed up so you could charge a pretty penny for premium placing on the site.
 
I'd have some kind of content other than directory stuff. Everything listed has lots of good content and good internal link structure. It's a really old domain so you don't have to go crazy at first, maybe see if you can get it to go anywhere with a little bit of content and some decent links.
 
I wonder if I should just focus locally on breast surgeons in the california/nevada area.

That is probably the gold mine and I could probably just manually add a couple hundred that are in that area. I could also check for comments on the particular doctor and repost them.

then buy some blog articles about breast implants, before and after, etc

then buy some backlinks

do it for 2 months and then see if I could sell it or sell advertising I guess.

I am just not much of a sales person, so hopefully I would get a good offer on the domain after contacting some top doctors
 
Focusing on one area is a great idea. Making a directory is too daunting. You will be more likely to get a local buyer too if it is all about california. its amazingly easy to find content about people in california with tit jobs too. basically any pics of big titted celebrities will be relevant.
