Looking to write articles

im a fucking newb. just started researching this shit this week and i am interested in AM. ill write a few free articles for anyone that needs them. but i got two questions:

1. is this the right place to ask this?

2. how do i get started writing these articles? do people contact me? or do i contact them?

You can also try Elance, I've found quite a few writers there with varying pay scales.

Go the Buy/Sell/Trade section, as PhillipMarlow directed you to. There is no need to write for free. Offer a couple free articles to established members for free in exchange for their feedback/iTrader, then start charging a few cents a word if you're any good.
