Yeah yeah here's me whining. I made a ton of changes to my team and easily had the best team in the league, started off 3-4 and ended the season 9-4 scoring at least 120pts/week for the last 5 weeks (~100pts is okay/average). Got a first round playoff bye, second round semis played the bottom seed team. He got into the playoffs on pure luck alone and his team is mediocre...he could barely score 100 the entire season. Here was the game (I'm the left):

I would have beat anybody else in the league this week including the other playoff teams.

I talked about it with friends for a while too, and there's pretty much no way to eliminate the luck factor in fantasy...and it really sucks.

yeah it definitely sucks. I was in the same position in two of my leagues. Was scoring the most points pretty much every week then the person that squeezed in the playoffs gets lucky. It happens.

Up by 1.8 with 36 seconds to play last night, he's running the Bears D...viking dumbfuck fumbles on a meaningless garbage time play, lose by 0.2....that's the game, deal with it.

you didn't have any better options than playing Joe Webb?? i mean i know you tried to sneak him in there as a QB in a WR slot but still...

on a side note, i love the super flex position (ie. qb, wr, rb, te) it places that much more value on having 2 really good qbs. I was able to get brees and schaub and they've been tearing it up.

You wanna talk about bad breaks? Both T.O. AND Knowshon Moreno get injured and score a cumulative total of .6 points. I lose by 10.

And Uber, you deserved to lose, your opponent had a much more balanced team.

Incorrect as proven by the data.

I scored 120+ every week for the last 5 weeks of the regular season and then in playoffs as well, the person I played struggled to hit 100pts every week and usually didn't even do it. I picked my players almost perfectly and built my team through waiver pickups and trades. I also built my team on consistency...29 points by Jackson this week is the highest any of my players has scored all year...but they were all good for 10-20 every single week.

His points scored in the last 5 weeks : 93, 86, 98, 101, 57. l-o-l

Fantasy Football is too stressful, i pick a perfect draft this year and end up in last. FU Fantasy Football!

I let the computer pick my team and I am in the championship game. Dude's RB was AP, who was benched for last night's game. Yay me!

Yeah pretty much the same thing happened to me... was winning pretty much every week. Then MJD gets injured for the last playoff game my team pretty much has it's worse fantasy performance of the year (I was pretty much scoring 120+ points/week up until this game and my opponent was averaging ~90 points/week).

Yeah the person who got lucky in the semi-finals of course did his usual shitty in the finals (97pts). I scored 125 and had the highest score for finals week.

I am a Ravens fan. The guy I was playing had the Ravens D/ST (vs. Houston) in the first week of the fantasy playoffs.

The Ravens couldn't score a fucking field goal in the second half of that game. Instead, they had a pick 6 in OT to win the game.

While I was ecstatic that the Ravens won, imagine my sadness when I realized that the pick 6 cost me my fantasy league. Lost by like 2 points because of that shit.

haha that was me you were playing against :)

Isn't this kind of what makes fantasy football fun? I mean its unpredictable compared to some of the other fantasy sports. Injurys from week to week really change things and there's always a chance some useless player who's like WR3 ends up getting a touchdown and some yardage... Granted it is still unbelievably frustrating when you loose and your team should have outperformed your opponents. Alas these are the frustrations and joys of the fantasy sports world...
