Dear Bros and Brahs, Friends and fuckwits, I have a problem.
I get very little done workwise these days, mainly because I'm spending all of my time here arguing, conspiring and ranting. Just the fact that I'm already at 6,000 posts should be proof of this.
Thankfully, before this problem gets so bad that I can't recover financially, my move to Thailand is finally catching up to me!
The moving boxes are stacked up to the ceiling beside me and I've got a trillion and one things on the task list with very little time to do them. Everything from using up my health insurance allotment and getting a new drivers license before it expires, to tracking down the owner of various borrowed things around the house... It's all piling up quick. So now is the required time for me to take a break from WF, likely for a few months, possibly much more.
Some of you already knew this was coming, (since my 4K post even) but I just couldn't tear myself away from STS before now. I'm at the point where I just don't see how I'll have the time to spend another hour shooting turds around here with you gais... So the timing on my 6K post was perfect.
This means that I may look in from time to time, but I'm going to stop posting on here for months, much to the happiness of everyone on my ignore list no doubt. It will take so long because I have to find the time to move everything I own into either a small storage place or into shipping crates to go overseas with me, and then once I'm settled in & unpacked, I've got to set up my new life over there and start learning the language. I will of course one day give in and start up old habits again, but by that time I'll be learning Thai every day and will still have my empire to run from there, so time will be much shorter over there for me. So this is truly the end of the era where I posted here so often too.
Actually, I'm also a little scared of the access issues here on WF with cloudflare and all that crap that made GeoMark stop posting. Last year when I visited BKK I had no problems at all, but Mark says it's different now and I might have to get a dedicated US proxy or something to access WF. If it comes to that I'll likely do it, but I certainly wouldn't keep posting here so often through such a slow and shabby connection.
Anyway, it's time for a few quick sayonaras...

I'll be spreading the good word in Thai soon too. As a bonus, between my thai lessons, I'll be taking more time to read up on economics @ Mises, and I have some longterm plans in mind for voluntaryism that can benefit the cause better from over there. Of course you guys can always reach me through email, & I should be able to check PM here from time to time too, assuming thais can post on WF at all.

For what it's worth, I can't see anything wrong with the theory of obomba literally being on a mission to make the USA communist. There are certainly some conspiracies that I believe that sound even more outlandish than that.

Thanks for the great forum from which I've learned tons. It's truly one of a kind, and more useful than any other forum online. If you make it easy on Thai IPs to access WF again, you can look forward to me returning and dropping another 6K posts of free content sometime in the future. :thumbsup:

I hear that integrating into a new society changes you a bit, and living in the east can make you mellow out. Perhaps I'll be much less of an alarmist next time you hear from me...
