Making BST Section Less Like DigitalPoint

Just an idea cos we seem to be getting a lot of asshats whoring their stuff here and it's getting like DP.

Is it possible to have either a minimum post count or (even better) a minimum reputation before you are allowed to post a new thread in the buy sell trade section?

Just an idea.

Sure we will get less offers, but at least the sellers we have would be better quality and it wouldn't effect any of the current good quality sellers.
 


And then what about the buyers who need specific things and can't post? I mean moneys money, Whether they have a post of 1 or 10,000 its still funding more people coming back to WF
 
How about - a new member is not allowed to start a new thread until he has posted a certain number of replies in other threads. This will prevent a whole bunch of "Hai I am introducing myself" threads.
 
We had a thread recommending to have minimum post requirement to start a thread in the BST section some months back & the reason explained to me by the one of mods was the having a minimum post requirement will allow retards to spam the forum & the guys that offer shit will be ultimately nailed and banned.

Makes sense.
 
Maybe a combination of length of membership (say 1 month) and a minimum post count should help. What this should do is that the DP'ers would probably stop spamming cause of the 1 month waiting period. They would have to wait for another 1 month to regain trust with a new account.
