Ive kind of asked this question before in another way but here goes again. Im looking to automate the reporting of certain campaigns to clients. Id need data from Adwords, call tracking systems like callsource, etc etc. Id have to be able to select what info shows and what doesnt. Is this possible and does anyone know of a solution? Thanks

If you're assimilating lots of data from a load of different sources, I'd say you probably need to get a developer to do it. (At least if you want less common data sources, like call tracking software, etc..)

Nice start-up idea for someone if they're looking though, sure there's plenty of demand for a tool like it.

My next product that's coming out shortly has automated customizable PDF reports that can be automatically e-mailed to you as an attachment every day / week / month / etc. Shows traffic & sales data, integrates with guys like AdWords, SE rankings, etc.

However, more than likely, you're best off grabbing a developer for a quick job, to ensure the reports are formatted the way you need them. Doing up a PDF generation and having it e-mailed as an attachment is extremely simplistic nowadays, so any amateur developer should be able to help you out.

Developer will use APIs or automated excel spreadsheet downloads if no API present to get the data input, then it will sort the data and output it to you.

I really want to use a service because if these apis change and their are issues id rather them deal with it then me have to go back, get the developer to work on it etc etc

I dont want to speak for him but I think Dchuk has some things in the loop as we have talked about automating reports before

adwords has it's own api's accessible via java, python, php wrappers, it's custom development but you get the data you want.

You could also go the semi-automated path by downloading adwords reports into a excel csv file and feeding that into a db like ms-access or google docs, merge other data sources and then generate reports from there.

I did find clickfuel which kind of does what i want but again, another issue with what shows and what doesn't. Also its kinda pricey
