Not sure how many people are actually in Maryland, but if you are you may want to check these out.

Kim dropped me a message about this and I was unaware until she brought it up. Maryland's SB 1071 - Advertisers and Retailers, Please Act Now! - ABestWeb Affiliate Marketing Forum

There's a pre-typed letter you can send off, as well as Shawn Collins has some good info about how to find who to send it to @ http://blog.affiliatetip.com/archives/maryland-affiliates-fight-senate-bill-1071-today/

If you do end up sending off info, drop me a PM with who you sent it to and when, Kim's keeping track of all efforts.

I'm not good at the whole "asking for help" so I figured I'd just drop it in here for you to see.

MA law

don't use a form letter... change it up... unique communication works MUCH better with legislators... also... for the peeps in MA.. get your facts straight on what is wrong with the bill.. (everyone can cite the same facts..), just not a form letter.. it actually works against you..

also.. call them in ADDITION to sending letter.

be sure and contact the person for your district.

The 186th General Court

Create a "car loan asshole" write up and send it to the legislators. "Law making asshole" ranks for who again? That's the strategy I'd stick with!

what happened to my comment.. i posted the best way to contact the legislature to do something about it.. fuck it.. get taxed dickhead

i dugg this post at the request of the author and left constructive comments to assist in the repeal of the bill.

better yet delete my account asshole mod..

Just got this notice: "Just got this note from Will Castleberry, AOL's Nat'l. Dir. of State Policy: "Thanks to all of your efforts and the hard work of our Lobbyists in Annapolis, the Maryland Nexus bill (SB 1071) has died. Session ended late last night without the bill getting out of committee...Thanks again and on to Connecticut and Minnesota..."

"

WAY TO GO GUYS!

I'm glad there wasn't passed yet another socialist law over there.
