It could really be either. But, "competitiveness" is sort of limiting. It could be the niche for a handful of reasons in addition to competitiveness....

that's what i'm trying to get at. i'm having a common experience of starting campaigns, experiencing mild success with maximum a couple $100/day revenue but nothing earth shattering. then i see things like the azoogle newsletter go out where they're offering rewards to people who drive 15,000+ resveratrol leads per month and i'm just wondering how the HELL are people sending that kind of volume.
