Surface by Microsoft

Hard to say how successful it will be with the lack of details at this point but at least it looks pretty nice. I'm really wondering how the responsive the combined keyboard case will be.

Really cool to see a keyboard. I hate typing on touchscreens.

I hope they learned from the Zune though... I don't really see how they can compete with the iPad...
 
its gonna be a hit! it looks so sleek. i might get one instead of an ipad.. and i like that it has a keyword!

I like my iPad, but I think Windows 8 on a tablet is going to be better. The live tiles and metro apps in the Windows 8 consumer preview are nice. It also supports multiple accounts with different tiles/desktops for couples or families that share a tablet.
 
CHROMEBOOKS GOT IT BEAT!

Srsly; the keyboard in the cover is pure innovation. I think my wife's about to toss her iPad out for this thing, but honestly it's all going to come down to 3 things:

1. Is it lighter than an iPad?

2. Does it still have an all-day battery life?

3. WILL IT RUN WINDOWS APPS???


If it can do all three of these then it's got a shot.

I like it. I have some issues with the design and I hope it doesn't look THAT ugly as I imagine it would.

Oh yeah, and the battery is gonna be pretty important too.

Looking forward to apple's response to this though.

Mind blowing innovation, it will cure the euro crisis 6 months after release to the public... no doubt.


This coming from a guy who has 40 BILLION in net worth, 1000's of workers... this is the best hi tech that can come out of that?

Think about that.... if you had 40 BILLION... and all the time to think up stuff..... lots of people to build all sorts of ideas.. then this...

Uh, it's pretty much the first tablet that's actually a computer. You can actually do things on it other than jack off to angry birds.
