Monetizing methods on my sites

Alright I am JUST getting started with affiliate marketing. I mean JUST. My sites aren't even indexed yet...
So, I am looking for the best ways to monetize the following types of sites:

-Arcade style game portal

-Underground/oldschool rap

-http://textflipping.com/

-Xbox, PS3, Wii games (reviews, news, etc)


What type of offers, what network, etc. Would Adsense be better than affiliate offers on some of these sites?
Any hints would be appreciated.

Hey i liked that text flipping service. I think that with AdSense on it and enough promotion you may monetize it nicely.
 
to monetize from your website, sell text or banner link on monthly or yearly or permanent basis.
