Monetizing Mobile Traffic

My site gets more and more mobile traffic (over 55% right now) and it seems I can't monetize it well...

The adsense CTR for my responsive theme is getting worse as the time pass. Anyone has tried WP Touch Pro and saw good results?

My website is in the Games niche. Switching to mobile/game offers sounds good idea?

I would appreciate answers besides "test and decide" :)
 


I use WP touch plugin and my all time Mobile CTR with Adsense is 4.84% which is higher than non mobile
 
Increasing CTR on mobile = increasing accidental clicks

Increasing accidental clicks = Getting banned

Getting banned = Butthurt

Butthurt = Owned
 
There's a lot of variables here, but bottom line is you have too test. Don't get sucked into the apps and games, yes, they make a ton of money, but like anything else you need the right traffic, handsets, demo for them. Test Test and Test - do you know what handsets you are getting? What carriers? What type of site is it?

Knowing all this will net you a much higher ecpm and you can serve pertinent offers to pertinent device carrier combos.
