Money to invest into new venture!

Like title says. I have about 2-3k of funds that I am looking to invest into starting up a new venture (field of work). If anyone have any suggestions that they would personally do and start doing with this amount of funds please let me know.

I would suggest buying 2 goats and a dog and train them every day to do tricks. Then you take them out on the road and perform tricks for the public. Call it the 2 goats and 1 dog freestyle.
 
Everyone has different ways of making money. Some people will say invest it in ppc campaigns for affiliate offers, others on building sites to dominate the serps, some people would spend it on arbi, some on email marketing...

What are your skills and talents? What are you good at, and if you are new to this, what are you interested in?

Assuming you are new and want a quick return - one suggestion would be to sign up with Copeac, Azoogle, Firelead etc, talk to your AM, get a good landing page (see ad above) and use your money to learn ppc while you make money. Compared to design, programming etc ppc management is expensive to outsource - something worth learning in my opinion.

Or buy 200 different $97 ebooks.... ;)
 
Put $2700 in the bank / fund of your choice. Then go download some free shopping cart, sign up for an affiliate or some wholesale place that wil let you drop ship... buys some clicks on the networks
 
Why dont you just give me that 2700$ and i will safely *ahem* i mean i will safe keep it..

Btw, the goat plus dog idea seems good.
If you are looking for a REAL niche u should try to import a monkey and an elephant from India and teach them tricks!

Not sure about the duties + tax for importing that though..

I do some marketing now on some social network sites and also in the past did some email marketing until the expenses went up so high.

Making a page and putting ads and stuff on them sounds like it would be almost somewhat what i do now. As i just use profiles instead.

Email marketing is mostly considered as SPAM.
Social Networking marketing is also considered as SPAM unless you do it properly.

I just hope you didnt dig a grave and put your money into it..

As always, LazyHippy comes through with some great advice. Assess your strengths and capitalize on them by utilizing PPC traffic for some affiliate campaigns.

First off, email marketing is not considered spam if you know how to do it. If you mail compliant to CanSPAM laws.

And network marketing is always how you see it as. Their are legal ways to do it.

Ok, here's a different suggestion... buy a house in Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia...

anyway- you can have a nice little content site in a high paying niche built for $1500 or so - spend the rest on PPC. Spend $500 on 50 500 word quality articles, each tailored to a specific aspect of that niche, $500 on site design (if you can't do it), Seed the pages w/ adsense and relevent aff offers..nice clean design so as not to get flagged for arbi, sign up for adwords... make ad campaigns for each individual page... etc etc etc.
 
What you need to do depends on you. The internet marketing business has a lot of options. Also if you dont know what to do with your money dont't make an announcement because i assure you other people will know what to do with your money. (its not good for you lets just say)

So what i suggest is stick around for a while read up on some things and then choose one that ineterst you. Afte you found the one that interest you research some more on it. And then act on it. probabbly that is the best thing i can tell you. you need to act. There are really many ways to make money and you are lucky because you have some funds to invest. Just read carefully before you devote yourself to something. And once you do devote yourself to something execute untill success.

Seek out to buy a seasoned domain with an established website from someone, seriously you would be surprised what kind of deals you can find. Of course you will have to do your research. In the real estate world this is called finding a "motivated seller". Sometimes people want cash today for whatever reason, life happens and people need money. If you can find someone who might have got started made a little money and established his/her site, then got into a bind, you never know. Of course you will have to find out the value of the site and get it verified. For example if a site is making $50 bucks a month and ranks well in the SERPs, make an offer. If it is making money consistently you will break even at some point, it just depends on how much you pay. That being said I don't know where the hell you can find someone like this...maybe people on this forum know...I would try to find someone like this and I actually am going to do something like this soon, I have too many irons in the fire right now..webmaster radio has a show on their called Domain Masters, I would also go back and listen to some of the segments for some inspiration...I managed to get some contacts there believe it or not.

That's horribly backwards. You're supposed to send the dog and monkey to India and have the Indians train them for $3. Bam. You just cut out 90% of your work and can start making some $$$!!!

Lol, honestly though...as people have said it totally depends on you. Do you want a quick return? Do you want to build up a nice long term site that comes with gratification? Do you want to buy a shit ton of lap dances?

Here's a tip though. If you are just starting, don't spend the $2,700 right away. Put $2,400 in the bank and spend some time learning with the $300. You don't want to risk all that money and lose it all....I would rather lose $300 as a learning experience than $2,700 eh?
 
yeah.. chatmasta's right.

if you can't even turn $300 into a profit, than having $2700 wouldn't make much difference.

as for what to do.. there are many good advices in this thread itself.. pick anything that you like.. and just do it.
 
buy 3000 .info domains for $1 per domain and fill each one with 100 page of articles and from each article have few links to ONE .com site, could be mesothelioma, myspace,...

Success guaranteed!
