My flog step 1 offer is with 1 affiliate network and my step 2 offer is with another affiliate network. Usually when I check my stats i have one or two more step 2 sales then step 1.

What the cause of this?

Why don't you switch them?

Edit: FerrisHilton beat me to it. Also without knowing your ctr, epc's, etc, it's impossible to say why exactly this is happening. Probably just because the 1st offer converts less than the 2nd offer.

Either reporting issue/scrubbing with the first network or simply (and more generally) the conversion rate is better; this might be because the page is more convincing for the second one or whatever, or it could be something to do with when the lead is tracked, what leads you get credit for, etc.

thats some good advice, i'm going to switch offers for tommorows testing. as always thanks guys.

Some sound advice. 1. Stop running flogs and farticles. 2. If not rotate offers from different networks and use google Website optimizer to keep the adcopy on the page consistent. Then you really can have some solid data. You can even pair different offers together and see which match converts better. Only problem with that is you need a large amount of traffic to make relevant data decision.

yeah, i really have to get my tracking strong, and get my dedicated-server/tracking202 going. I've been putting this stuff on hold just to keep my campaigns going. Is clicktale.net worth looking into as well?

uggghhh I love clicktale but I wish they had better API or a way to track conversions better.
