Hey folks...

I'm not normally the type to post up about Digg (and no this isn't a plug for a digg ring or anything like that). Just wondering... what's the most popular niches for digg-worthy stories...

Seems like anything having to do with:

-- Apple (especially *exclusive* pics of new products... jeesh)
-- Bush-bashing / Republican Bashing
-- Digg user fluff (aka "Digg is great because: (a) crashed the interwebs (b) digg users aren't fat or anything (c) digg is awesome because chuck norris lets it be)
-- Microsoft-bashing, or really anything that makes the open source dev community swoon.
-- Cool pictures of animals / unique places / strange things...

Feel free to add away at this list.

One thing that DOESNT seem like it gets a lot of front page play anymore are things like "here's my earnings for the month" checks (that was soooo 2006) and "how to get rich" crap like you see on a lot of ebook spamblogs.

Anyways, comment away or not. Just something to think about next time your swirling up linkbait.

If I were any of you - I'd spend a couple hours slapping together some clean photochops of iPods and iPhones and put them up as *Next Gen apple products leaked photos!" Ha ha.

Wii, they fuckin' love wii, they even use that shitty joystick as dildo. That's so fucking wrong.

And they love fat people, when you write an article about non-fat people, you'll get ten times more diggs if you call the person skeleton.

rich people doing retard thing (like that girl cry for wrong color of her car, wife crash muscle car)

or yea, anything that prove women shouldn't be driving too

Also, talking about Ubuntu can get your article on the first page pretty much like an article about whatever iShit :) . (That would be included in the entry about open-source -which digg users love- but thought that being specific helps :P ).

Also , cheatsheets seem popular (css,mysql,..) and also articles about breath taking CSS designs.
