I'm on a quest to find the most profitable exact keyword phrase that exists on the Internet today. I'm actually writing an article for a major newspaper in Colorado about it. What I mean by the most profitable, is with the traffic generated by the number 1 position on Google, what keyword phrase could possibly make the most money.

So far, in my research I've found that by taking the exact phrase match (the "[]") on Google's traffic estimator tool and putting in a large list of terms, then sorting it by daily advertiser spend, that I can find some of the most profitable keyword phrases on the Internet. The top one that I've found is [Computer Notebooks]. This is because of the amount of traffic and amount that is being spent per click by advertisers.

The thing is, I really don't believe that [Computer Notebooks] is the most profitable keyword phrase on the Internet. According to Google it even outperforms the keyword phrase of [porn]. Does anyone have a better way to determine the most profitable exact keyword phrase on the Internet? Also, let me know if I can quote you for the newspaper.

Thanks!

The [Buy Viagra] keyword could be worth some money for a natural SEO point of view due the fact that Google requires a license to advertise for that, however, the search volume is about 20 times less than the keyword phrase of [Computer Notebooks].

As for the other suggestions, I'd say some people don't have a clue.

The second most profitable phrase is "Gary Gnu and the News in Review". Nobody is quite sure why, although it definitely has to do with the number one most profitable phrase...

Clever. :D

auto insurance and austin dui lawyers seem to be expensive :)

you can't find it unless you know the business model behind the monetization of that keyword phrase.

the most profitable term is probably the most searched for term. Why? Because a little company called Google figured out the best monetisation strategy for it.

Instead of overhyped bullshit, why don't you actually write something worthwhile about the online economy?

Seriously, do you really wonder why respect for journalists has gone through the floor in the last decade?

I found the most profitable keyword on the internet by googling "profitable keyword selection" I am now making so much profit by using this keyword that I don't mind sharing it with you McLink.

Cheers and welcome to wickedfire ;)
