Who else has more than one identity?
I have my life as a writer, of course. But I also teach At-Risk kids Reading and Language Arts (writing, grammar, etc...) Actually making the move to an alternative high school next year. Oh, and I'm also a Mommy.
I have to be very careful where I use my byline and what assignments and projects I take because of the teaching career. I'm very open to public scrutiny (unfortunately.) Fortunately I'm good at what I do and love teaching enough to deal with the hassles. In fact,this forum is totally banned at my workplace.
I know some of y'all have totally split personalities like me - fess up!
