So I ran an experiment a few minutes ago with my youngest son. He loves watching "Wheels on the Bus" videos on YouTube, so I figured - hey, let's see what kind of music he likes. We sat in front of the kitchen computer while we're waiting for shrimp to cook and I brought up a bunch of Youtube videos of different kinds of music.
He likes most kid music, which makes sense. But as for other kinds of music:
Rap - No, he fusses
Heavy Metal - No, he fusses
R&B - No, he squirms and fusses
Electronic/Techno - No. Not into it. Didn't fuss, but seemed kind of bored.
Conway Twitty's "Linda on my mind"? Loves it. He sat there and sang along with it. Baby talk, but he matches the notes and tempo nicely.

He's not so much into the newer country, but apparently he has a deep love for Conway Twitty. I am not sure what caused this, and I am also not sure how to fix it.
