I have seen alot of people posting all kinds of fancy templates with hand written content and header graphics on here for review..
im getting 50 - 100% ctr on:
Blue background,
500px white box in the middle,
H1 tag with page title
large adsense rectangle with images on the side
Huge block of scraped wikipedia content that has low line height so people
are like fuck if im gonna read that.
black link to wikipedia in the bottom

thats it, no images, nothing. its the shittiest website I have ever made and its getting the highest ctr.....

is there a reason you link to Wiki? I scrape some content from wiki too- should I be doing that to the arb pages I made?

I am also having good CTR w/ a white background, 250 words, large text ad block, and one picture...

reefer420 - I am not making fun of you but your post was funny. It shows the power of and the lack of information in this business. Someone says they do something that is different than what others are doing and someone starts asking all kinds of questions. I think this goes under the magic bullet searching!

Theoretically (according to the wikipedia license) you're supposed to give them attribution for the content and link to the license agreement. I use a tiny "copyright" link at the bottom of each page, which links to a local copy of their license, which probably doesn't quite meet what I *should* be doing according to the license. A lot of people don't bother with anything.
