I've been thinking HAARP the whole time. Obama doesn't control HAARP, though, but maybe whoever does wants him as president still.
Well, that would work if FEMA was remotely efficient. FEMA won't actually accomplish anything until weeks after the disaster hit. They have phone calls to ignore and free aid to turn away. That shit takes time man.
While in office Obama has visited NYC dozens of times for fundraising (even for a famous "date" with his wife) - but in the wake of Sandy with 40+ dead, millions lost power, tens of thousands newly homeless?
No visit.
And there is pure fury around here about the decision to run NYC's marathon this Sunday. I hear rumors Staten Islanders are going to try and prevent the start of the race.

The fact is, yes - we can make it rain. Yes, HAARP is designed to play games with the atmosphere.
But wheres the evidence that we have the technology available to actually create a fucking hurricane that is the size of Europe???...

The best part about this thread was the fact that I totally said everything tongue-in-cheek. Of course I don't believe in manmade hurricanes. If not for any for any other reason than the fact that the world has an average manmade energy output of about 15 terrawatts a year. Again thats for the whole year. An average size hurricane produces 200 times that amount every day it exists above a catagory 1.

Hmm. Just guessing, but maybe it has something to do with the lack of functioning airport, no way to drive on a shitload of the roads, and buildings collapsing around you.
I dunno about you, but that kinda makes NYC lose its appeal to me.
