Hello again WF.

Now into the IM scene for a little over a month and having not seen any success so far it is time for questions!

To all you people out there making steady money:

- What sort of landing pages are you using? (ex. a sales pitch page, a review site, an information site with affiliate links throughout, etc)

Basically, is it direct or indirect?

- Are you making the bulk through cpa or something else?
- Are you using one of these standard page 'techniques' or are you thinking outside the box and doing something completely different?

I'm needing to know ideas of what kind of landing page to use. Am I directly marketing the product (Buy Me Now), or am I doing something like (Best Kinds of Products)? Do they both yield good results?

Sorry if these questions sound too simple or something, but I really need a nudge in the right direc.

You have to try every "type" of landing page you know of, and it doesn't hurt to invent your own.

Yes, CPA. Are you selling actual products?

The product/service/lead dictates the types of landing pages you should use, and whether you should use landing pages at all.

I'm still trying to teach myself this stuff so my basic steps were:

1.Blew through mad cash on a dumb campaign because my friend was fucking with me when he said to start on that. I will get him back.

2.Quit for a month

3.Decided to get back into it but learn more this time taking one campaign and learning all the ins and outs of different aspects of the trade using that campaign.

4.Found a cpa product that had people looking for it but not huge competition.

5.Started off doing Fake news articles on google. Used the traffic to split test different versions of the page layout and content.

6.Got hit by google and my account got suspended for a couple weeks.

6.Moved that campaign over to bing and yahoo.

7.Realized I was getting lots of clicks from yahoo but the conversions weren't making it cost effective. Found bing had less clicks but more conversions so optimized from there.

8.Tried it on pulse but got nothing but mail.yahoo clicks and wasted a bunch of cash. Gotta try talking to someone there to get a real campaign set up.

9.Decided to run the same niche through SEO using a informational site leading to the product and after a couple weeks have a page on top pages in all the searches for decent keywords brining in a few sales a day through seo.

10.Now I am going to:
A. try to learn now to scale a campaign and try to learn banner advertising or another means to get more clicks. Basically, lose a bunch more cash.

B. Rinse and repeat my above steps on a new campaign since the first is running smoothly only needing random changes.

Gonna try to move into FB type ads next but that seems like a whole different beast I gotta learn as well. I'll let ya know.

If any other newbs like me have any questions about all the ways I fucked up feel free to pm me about anything but my niche.

you're talking as if people here owe it to you to help out.

how about you post campaigns you've created and failed on. which LP you used, traffic stats, conversions, niche. I'd be more willing to give you pointers if I see you've put in the work.

give someone data about what you tried and someone can help you. everything is relative for what works. go pick 1 offer on a network thats on a top offer list. go figure out everywhere people are promoting that offer and how they are doing it. do that for like 10 offers and you will start to get a feel for what types of promotion works for what offers.

I cant tell you how often i do this - whether i plan on running an offer like it or not... always good to see other angles
