myads messed up suggested bid?

I just made some ads on MyAds, they got approved, my bid is at the high range of suggested, actaully even a few cents beyond that, and it's been an hour and I'm yet to get any impressions with a pretty high daily budget. This is my first time doing myads so I don't know if their suggested bid is horribly off base and I'm just bidding too low or if it takes a while to get impressions flowing into new campaigns or what.
 


i'm bidding 1.20 right now with a daily budget of 50 just to see what happens and i'm still not getting anything so something's going on
 
it takes about 1.5-2.5 hours to start getting traffic one you put your ads live. I'd lower your bids if I were you. Plus they could be doing a media buy today which fucks up everything you are trying to do.
 
There's an HP roadblock today. Good luck unless you're bidding 4-5x the suggested bid.
 
Uhh, fuck myspace, maybe. How do you make money here without .60+ epc offers? Wtf? I'm bidding 70 cents and high daily budget and ever since noon yesterday I've gotten 260 impressions total, rofl. What is going on.
 
media buy and it sucks, using the api helps but still it sucks and will continue to suck.

RIP myads ... it was hot shit when it was hot. I suggested to them earlier this year that they should follow in fb's footsteps with custom ad sizes. There is no doubt that cpm's for the same ad space would kill what they're making with their traditional IAB banners.
