I watched a documentary recently about those Yeti/Bigfoot appearances (same two from the pics here) and they came to some interesting conclusions.

Among other things, they had a professional runner put in that same place and he couldn't run as fast as whatever was recorded there!

I kept telling this story about how when a bunch of us were trekking in Nepal a Yeti charged us off the path. It was funny moment, there were like 20 of us and I was in the back and I just saw all the people diving off the path in front of me and then this big Yeti. I scrambled up the edge of the cliff and it kept on charging down the path.

I never understood why no one believed the story until I realized I was confusing the word Yeti with the word Yak.
