wtf do i do?

Respond. Were you using a landing page? If so show it to them.

Hello friend,

I think CJ say you use incentive for generate lead. If you no use incentive then tell you no use. Show proof where traffic come from.

If it real lot money maybe should hire lawyer.

Good luck bro

i didnt use a LP, i direct linked and used facebook ads

i had no incentivized offers, just promoted the offer .. simple as that

are they requiring me to have a LP?

i know .. CJ ur all gunna flame me,
I push CJ too, lots of high converters there.

but i had a high payout for a decent offer and promoted it on facebook ...
I am fairly certain the problem is here. You didn't put the tracking pixel, did you?

then i'm waiting for my payment and i get this in the mail ... it makes literally no sense to me.
Learn to speak and then the emails will MAKES SENSES!

Can somone please help me out and not make any smart ass comments
Sorry can't stop.

b/c there is a lot of money at stake, and theres no way they r gunna screw me out of it...
CJ can screw you anytime they want. They can revert payments minutes before they pay you. They can ban you for whatever reason they like. They can screw you before you get to say "CJ fucked me". In fact, yesterday they took back 300 euro in commissions from me just like that.

heres the email i got in the mail ..
So you bake while you bake?

I assume you need to do whatever it says here:

Basically they are saying, "you sir have a fishy business model, explain it to us".

ok .. i didnt use a tracking pixel .. b/c i coulnd't find one ... CJ's platform is horrendus. On top of that i have no problem tellin them i promoted on FB ads .. i didnt do anything bad, but i just don't know if that agrees w/ their terms or not.

i dont have an incentive site.. and no where do i see on CJ that really says they allow Search marketing or FB ads, thats why im so confused

the incentive thing they mention refers to my own LP, which im not using one ...

as long as you were allowed to promote on social media and you weren't incentivizing then show them the ad.

This is probably in regards to an EDU offer.

Edu offer + FB Traffic + Job related advertisement = Non-payment

What part of

... and if you are using third party services and/or publishing links on third party sites (sites that you do not own or operate), provide a list of service providers and sites associated with such providers.

did you not understand?

Did you even read it?

It's about direct linking from facebook "publishing links on third party sites (sites that you do not own or operate)", they probably have a problem with it and I wouldn't be surprised if it was spelled out in the TOS. But you probably didn't read that either.

CJ generally requires you to use the links/creatives they give you, as is. You usually need to get permission to customize anything or to use your own creatives/links.

And why are asking us when you should be working with CJ to straighten this out?

Alright so this exact same thing happened to me so I can speak with experience. Because you do Facebook traffic that means you have to check the incentives/special programs box in your account. It sounds like they are accusing you of using incentive traffic but they really just are accusing you of using Facebook traffic which they are fine with after you check the box.

You will have to get reaccepted to all your programs though but they will probably still pay you. If this is Mylife, you don't have to worry because I had this exact thing happen with Mylife back when I was promoting it on FB before the ROE wasn't worth it for me.

Wait did you say you got this in snail mail? Have you gone through and followed their directions about what it is they want you to do on your account? Have you gotten any emails from them? Do you normally get emails from them? It could be that they've not been able to contact you electronically so they've mailed you this to get your attention so that you will complete the steps they need you to complete. " ... you must do the following: After updating your Account, you must verify that your Account has been properly flagged as an Incentive/Special Program by clicking on the edit box and marking the “yes” field; then provide an incentive/special program description in the space provided;...."

its not an edu and its not mylife i am going to call them right now and straigten this thing out tho ... i was using FB but i had no job traffic .. IE "become a teacher" .... i didnt do that

I was just logging in here to search for this very topic. I got that same fucking email today. These guys are tightasses. I take their links and redirect them through prosper202 which I guess is non-compliant. so i'm going to do as they say and hope that i still get paid my pending commissions. my traffic is ppc / facebook and 100% legit. fuckers.

Log into your CJ account

Click on the "Account" tab

Click on the "Web site Settings" link

In the lower right-hand corner click on the "edit" button in the "Incentive/Special Program" box

Check yes for "Does your Web site offer incentives to visitors, donate a portion of proceeds to charity or require special approval from advertisers?"

in the description box put "Direct link from facebook.com" .

After you do this, CJ will reset all approved advertisers to pending and you'll need to get reapproved.

After the above-requested information is updated, all of your program’s advertiser affiliations will be set to “pending” and must first be re-approved by individual advertiser(s) in order for tracking and transactions to resume.

Email the advertiser at the address on their CJ info page and let them know you are a newb and didn't read the terms and beg for forgiveness and maybe they won't reverse your commisions.

You should note that your current or pending payout(s) are on hold until your program is correctly and completely updated. Upon notice of the special program update, advertisers may choose to reverse unpaid transactions.

I wouldn't bother with the special/incentive part - I've had "Facebook Social Ads" listed as one of my CJ "websites" forever to ensure adequate disclosure without having to do special/incentive.

He can try to add that as one of his sites but he still needs to get re-approved

The only problem with the special/incentive is that more advertisers will auto-dissaprove your app, but most will manually approve if you contact them and let them know what you are doing (if it's legit).

i just emailed them and basically said like ...

"i don't know wtf ur directions mean, i'm not using incentiviced traffic, im just advertising on facebook.. blah blah blah .. and thats it, now i just have to wait to hear back from them

this isn't what i did .. but most likely advertisers don't like when publishers pop up an ad saying something like "police officers wanted" and direct them to a link for a criminal justice degree ...
