Hi guys, I need some help into what you guys think or what I can do.

I design and coded the website - Krupt Online

However I am really confused how to "target" or "niche" it to make it a successful site. Like what kind of content I should put in it.

At the beginning is a splash page where I can put in new content etc, then when you go through, it takes you to a blog page. I've chopped and changed it in terms of menu a few times but I can't think of a concrete idea of how to do it or how to present the articles..or what to present.

Any thoughts on this? On how you think I could make it successful?

I was thinking a general fun entertainment site with lots of random different types of stuff from girls to jokes to interesting facts and videos

design looks good. But....i ono. Your target would mainly be the age of 10-23 maybe? And if you're mainly aiming for entertainment think about "why would people between the age of 10-23 goto your site on a regular basis?" u dont really have to be promoting a certain campaign, cuz if you can get a LARGE amount of traffic, u could just do PPM. And that could bank u couple hundred a day. Cuz u could have 2-3 ad space, and poeple usually goes through 3-5 pages per visit, thats alot of cash.

Hmmm I think your right in terms of demographic...where could I put the PPM's, in the same place I have the ads now? What exactly is PPM?

Considering the rather nice layout of your site, I'm thinking adding in some AdSense is only going to massively screw up the appeal of your site.

So the site obviously content based.
Monetization wise, your best bet would dropping links to products directly. Seeing as Avril's the 1st name I spotted, she's gonna be my example.
Either fan merch for the celebs on site ("Hey, I just got this sweet Avril Lavigne poster!") or merch that the celebs have in their videos ("Avril's wearing this totally hot Emily Strange Tshirt."). I suppose you could also push entertainment media download services ("Download Avril Lavigne latest album!").
You're also probably able to run some poll based submits ("I like a) Avril Lavigne b) people with actual talent instead of blowjob lips") for a couple extra bucks here and there, so long as you've got the poll on the front page. Get their email addresses by putting in something about ensuring people can't multiple vote.

BTW, niiiice design. Yours, or a template? And if a template, where'd you get it?

Thanks Harvey, I like the sound of that. It's my own design ;) - Hollister Bay

I have some questions. With dropping links to products, how do I make money of that? Coz to me that is just me giving a direct link to a store or something in my article, so how do I make anything out of that?

The same goes for the downloading of media services

And lastly the polls...again how do I make money out of that?

Cool ideas there though for sure and on the lines I would like to take this blog/site
