Network asking for LP?

So basically I have a network I haven't done much traffic with, maybe $1/$1.5k over the course of the summer. Never had any problems with traffic getting paid or lead quality.

I apply for a simple lead gen offer, they ask what kind of traffic I am going to send. Fine, I tell them SEO because it is a long term project I want to work on.

They email me back saying they want to see my LP and how much traffic I am going to send?

Does that not sound a little suspicious? They have never before asked me for an LP or had any problems with my traffic. Just wondering if I am being overly paranoid.
 


just give them some bs LP and tell them you'll send test traffic and if it converts you'll send a TON more.
 
is it a reputable network? if it's some no name mom and pop place then why run with them in the first place. if they ask your for a LP when you've hardly run any volume to their network and aren't even running to an offer in the first place, it's not likely they want to jack it for their own use. perhaps it's a quality dependent offer or a fickle offer in terms of the advertiser, like some are, and they want to check for compliance before hand.

good advice. and it is a very reputable network, in fact the owner posts on this board quite a bit, and a bunch of people have them in their sig here. not that that means a ton, but its definitely not like that "best good offers" indian guy that posted here earlier this year lol

but yeah i know i haven't run a bunch of traffic so its not like they want to jack it, i just have an issue with giving them an LP because I am in a position to start running a bunch, and if they see some offer go from 0 -> $1k a day and they see i gave them my LP, well what is to stop them from just jacking it? yeah yeah i know its part of the game, i think for now i'll just give them some bs lander.
 
oh, btw... give them a bs lander on your server. that way you can record their IP range and redirect any hits back to that bs lander should they ever visit you again. pretty sure kblinker's redirect program can do this easily if you dont know how.
