New and have some questions

I just had a very bad experience in a very popular IM forum. I was using my name like here and got a post deleted for no reason and had this mod just screwing with me all day deleting my posts then leaving the posts up but deleting the text and putting DELETED in it's place. Just mis-use of authority.

Later when this guy was gone I was able to post again and started a thread complaining about it. I was basically told that being a mod is so stressful with listening to crybabbies and running a business that mods can get away with anything they want and I should just shut up and take it or disappear. I put up a page on my site and blog on how they treat people out there.

I had my sites in my sig file and they told me that those niches are tainted to me now. Can that happen? can they ruin it for me in my niches? I don't see it. I will be re-thinking using my real name on anything, articles sites forums.

Also I read here that it is easier to get into PPC with Yahoo is this true. I have tried with Google but did not do to well. I have basically been article marketing.

Ermmm...I think I zoned out before the question.
if you're asking if a niche can get "tainted" for one person...no. Not unless it's a super tight community around it.
And I hate yahoo. 3 days to approve a campaign SUCKS. If you're looking for a easier intro, try MSN.
 
3 days to approve a campaign sounds insane... thats never happened here before and I run a lot of volume with ysm.

People will tell you ysm adcenter and all the latter are better ways to go for a newbie over google simply because QS becomes a headache when you are promoting something from the hip (Using advertiser's generic LPs, Using Direct Linking, etc)

As for your niches being tainted, I highly doubt it.

You will learn fast in this industry doing retaliatory shit (posting to your site and blog about how shitty their service is) will garner you tons of haters & talkers
 
I posted a reply but I guess it did not post for some reason so here it is again. First I read somewhere that MSN gave up their PPC is that true?

As far as the forum thing, I would post the forum name here but am not sure if I can. Basically I got treated like shit by a mod all day for no good reason except that he could do it and I got pissed. He left and I could post later in the evening and I made a post and went off and they basically told me I broadcast my downfall to thousands and would never do any good in the niches I had in my sig file. They were now tainted to me.

They are the same sites that are in my sig here so as you can see they are not tight niches and I don't see how a forum of uptight assholes have the balls to say they will ruin you which is basically what they told me!

I was really pissed when I put the page on my site and basically told the admin of that forum that I would not remove the page and if they did not like it just be quit and take it, basically what they told me about this mod's actions.

I am going to remove the page and be done with it and them, all it is getting me is traffic from that forum that ain't buying

What forum were you on? That is bizarre. I have never had any issues with my signature links in forums.
