My first thought was: I like it. But then I started trying to find shit. Then when I found it, I'd try to read it.

And it was difficult.


I'm going to send you to a similar site, and not tell you to copy it... but to look at the organization, and contrast used to make the content stand out.

I think it's the same kind of publication as the 'SotanLife'.

Again, I'm a design retard. I just look at it from a reader's perspective, and not a coder/designer.

I think if you pull those words out of the background, you're golden.

I agree, some margins/spacing around ads, content, and such would be good.

This site could come in handy for finding some local entertainment

CorrectAd - yeah, the DallasObserver looks great. Unfortunately they have a design team, a development team, an editorial team and are a major publication. I'm a one-mean team, hard to compete with that.

Stanley - hopefully you're looking at the girls in the middle of the screen to watch the video.

Deliguy - Are there design errors in Firefox or you just don't agree with the layout? Also, awesome blog, I should pm you about some interesting ideas I have...

NachoNinja - Yes, ultimately I'm looking to get paid, so if they come and go, that's alright with me...

topshelf - Good idea, but I'm not really selling a product. I drive all traffic from organic SEO, so where they end up is already what they're looking for ;-)

The way you are hiding 'ads by google' could get your account killed real fast if the big G finds it. They don't like that being hidden (against TOS).
