I for example don't understand how people can listen to heavy metal, or any sort of metal. Or gyrate to dubstep for 4 hours. But millions do.

Still waiting for a new revolution in music. Of course, that might mean "musicians" would actually have to learn how to play an instrument, like they did in the olden days.
But really, even if I detest the whole gangster rap culture, Lil Wayne really is trash on all levels. Can't hold a candle to NWA, Tupac, Dre etc. I really don't see the musical value in Lil Wayne. Nonsense rhymes and his voice has no power or musicality. Job well done to his marketing agency.
