Newbie Help Please.

:hi:Hi Wickedfire.

I've been in the AM industry for about a year or so now, however i've only ever worked on already established sites.

I've decided if i want money i have to do my own sites too. However my first 3 attempts have just crashed and burn't because i'm not experienced with starting a new site.

Could anyone give me some advice on what kind of things i should be doing to have a successful first affiliate site? Obviously I'm not expecting a billion uniques a day. just a few hundred would please me.

Keywords are a great thing to start. Make sure your keywords are low in competition so it will be easy for your site to rank.

Another thing is if you want to earn money, you need visitors or the customers themselves, and in order to get to them, you would need a lot of traffic on your site.

There are a lot of ways in getting traffic to your sites, one example is article submission, if writing is too much for you, try blog commenting on sites that have high page rank. You can also try social boookmarking. :)

Just post in the newbie section first, and you won't get "hazed" so to speak. Read a lot, then start posting, you'll get a lot of help here if you stay to the rules.

Yeah this forum is almost useless sometimes, but you'll find some useful stuff if you follow the rules. Gotta learn somehow huh, and throwing a dick in his face is a good way to l, ah fuck it, eat shit homo.

Just thought I'd chip in and say I also found this post helpful.

I was sat at work reading away and it put a whole new spin on any ideas I had.
