I'm a noob here so please forgive me if I started this thread in the wrong place!

Well just as the title says, I have no direction whatsoever. I have a website that like an idiot I spent obscene amounts of money having it developed just "knowing" that I would be rich the minute I turned the switch :1orglaugh:

Needless to say this has not been the case and since Sept. I have been running around in circles working 17+ hrs a day (I work my other brick and mortar business at least 4-6 of those hrs 5 days a week just to eat all while trying to develop a system that works. I can essentially tailor the package anyway I want since it's my company and well at this point overhead is overheard I've yet to have one week where I made more than I put into the company. So this has led to me becoming very high strung, overwhelmed and just flat out aggravated. I'm a single dad so this isn't healthy for me or anyone around :(.. I won't fail because I'll never quit, too much pride for that. However, pride or not; I need help! I could go on for hours about the horrors and reality show type stuff that I've had to endure since starting this company, but I won't go into it on a public forum such as this for obvious reasons ;)

Basically I guess what I'm saying is that I need a "capable" right hand man that I can count on plain and simple.. if anyone that is still reading this post is a professional (college degree or proven business success w/ IM or offline or even at this point I would settle for a web guy that isn't lazy and has common sense (a dying breed) that would be interested in a jv?/co-founder type arrangement. There is still no doubt in my mind that we will eventually become a household name in the USA it really is only a matter of time and continuous diligence... So if any of you think that you would be a good candidate and interested in working out any kind of arrangement, pm me for details.

**MODs please feel free to pm me with any questions regarding the validity of who I am and the company in reference (as already stated for obvious reasons I don't feel it would be wise for me to discuss my company's name, etc on a public forum).

Everyone has projects they think are killer, and ultimately fail. Few thoughts:

Those who can are already doing, they don't need to waste time with charity cases like yours. Odds are your idea isn't gonna be a household name.

Keep beating a dead horse or keep developing/improving an idea. You need to decide which is which and what your actual risk:reward ratio needs to be.

I wasn't asking for a charity case by any means! I have a product and need someone experienced to make money marketing it or making money showing me how. I'm sorry if I came across as looking for a hand out, that totally was not my intention.

First of all, STS is the worst section to ask for help. This is where all the dickroll happens. Go to the right section and ask more specific questions. This forum is tough on noobs, but you'll learn a lot more than any other forum.

Thanks avatar33, I've learned about dickrolling quite well today. I don't have many specific questions as I currently carry out most tasks that I know to do and a lot of what I think I should be doing on my own. It's more what I could be doing that I'm not due to my lack of knowledge and experience or maybe things that I could be doing more efficiently cause I am not doing it right or the best way there is to do it.

Nonetheless I will take heed to your advice and not post for help in STS ever again :) Thanks again

Your first site will ALWAYS suck. Keep producing, keep reading, and keep learning. In 2 years you'll look back at this post and wish you could transfer all that information back, but it's a long road.

But let me tell you something - that long road is WORTH it.

Keep at it and good luck. Feel free to ask some more detailed questions in the newb forum.
