Today I jumped in full blast.

LP was ready, Keywords were ready, Ads were built...

Before lunch I had racked up $200 in spending. Kinda freaked... but then found I had some conversions.

Just wanted to share the excitement. I feel I can possibly make this campaign work but I'm a little nervous at some of the initial stats such as the keywords that are pulling the most clicks & converting...

How far do you guys go into testing an offer for bailing out?
Or before you start tweaking and changing things up.

Anyways, have learned a lot from reading this forum.
Cool stuff.

Monitor your click costs over the next few days, see if they go up or down. You might be paying a premium over the others because your offer is new but if you can get a good CTR on your ads, G might lower your bids through a better QS.

please tell me you're tracking clicks, conversions and keywords with prosper202.com or tracking202.com

Yes.
That being said, I had it mucked up this morning and with my first two conversions, I dont know where they came from.

So I deserve a kick in the ass for that. I tested and was sure I had everything working properly and then with the flurry of clicks I soon realized that wasn't the case.
Was getting keywords, tracking etc but the subids weren't passed on to the Aff. Network.

It's all tracking now and working properly AFAIK....

if you cannot afford to spend $200 in a day, you should lower your spend because you need enough more data to make an informed decision. seems like you could have something working though,.

I think I do have something working.
I can afford to spend $200 a day and much more. It's how much I'm willing to lose.

^ keep going dude... fix your tracking, double-check your landing page and keep at it... you'll be fine....

Sounds like me, I spent around $200 on my first campaign, but only made $30.

It's kinda hard to compete with the top keywords. The program owners probably own the highest ads. They probably average over $120 per customer and only pay affiliates $30 - so they can afford the prime keyword spots and don't have to worry so much about sales ratios because the profit margins are so high.

I hope you're not starting off w/Acai or c/c offers :)

Try split testing with direct linking. Sometimes lp isn't converting as much as direct linking for some reasons. Use G optimizer with analytics(assuming ur with adwords)/pixel. Depends on types of keywords(buying mode) and preselled landingpage though.
