Ok, so I loaded my searchfeed acount with some $$$ and got a few thousand keywords added to each of the 3 campaigns I currently have running.
I noticed that after uploading and getting the .txt file approved by the company.. the bids on the new keywords I added were only .01. So I go into the control panel to change everything to .06. For those of you that use searchfeed, you know that option that lets you "move all bids to position 1". For some freaking reason, I decided to click that and submit.. I thought it was talking about positions on the listings page.. oh man I was wrong.
Few minutes later I refresh the page and saw that my balance fell like a fat kid on ice skates. I clicked on reports and Detailed Keyword Clicks, and saw that I was paying outrageous prices for each damn click I got.. some were .75 some were more.. holy mother crap. I quickly de-activated and found out the idiotic mistake I made
For those that don't know.. what it did was move all of my keyword bids to position #1.. being the HIGHEST damn bid there is.
Well, I sure learned my lesson. =\
